Is it realistic to immigrate to Canada without an invitation to work and provincial support?
There are several immigration programs in Canada. For some of them, it is quite easy to come to the country without even having an invitation to work and other advantages.
My friends, good morning! On the calendar we have today on March 26, and today I want to share with you an answer to the question. This question worried me for a while, and I could not find an answer to it. But now I found an answer to it, and so I want to share an answer with you. Maybe someone will be useful, maybe someone will just be interested.
The question was, is it realistic to come to Canada via the Express Entry system, if you do not have provincial support, if you do not have an invitation to work. That is, each of these things gives you an additional 600 points that open the gate for you to immigrate to Canada. But what about those people who do not have neither one nor the other. How real are their chances of coming to Canada? Theoretically, this was possible, since the Express Entry system equates you to other candidates who applied for immigration. Theoretically, if you are the only candidate and you have received the minimum number of points that are necessary for immigration, and besides you there is no one, then you must pass. But in practice I did not know how many candidates there are from all over the world who also want to immigrate, who already have an invitation to work, who have provincial support. What are the chances of ordinary people?

I’ll turn the camera, we’ll start to go and continue the conversation. It turns out that in the Express Entry system there are so-called rounds of invitations. Once in a while, the CIC chooses a certain number of people who have applied for immigration. It chooses from these people those who have the highest score. That is, people who are in this reservoir of applicants compete with each other. Those who have more points, they pass. Moreover, I must say that these rounds of invitations are of two kinds. There is a general round of invitations, when all candidates for all immigration programs compete among themselves. That is, those who submitted for the Federal Skilled Worker, and those who filed for the Federal Skilled Trades, and the Canadian Experience Class, and those who come with provincial support. Of them, all are selected people with the highest score. In addition, there are rounds of specific programs, when CIC takes one program out of all the people who went by this program, selects some quantity with the highest score and invite them.
I want to read you the results from January 1, 2015. Since the program began to work, five such rounds have already been held, and I want to read out the results of these rounds. The first round was on January 31, and in this round, 779 invitations were sent to the candidates who were there at that time. It turns out that in this first round the candidate with the lowest score was a man who had 886 points. After that there was another round on February 7th. It was also a general round, 779 people were also selected. And the smallest number of points was 818. The third round was on February 20, and this round was specific only for people who immigrate under the Canadian Experience Class program. In this round, 849 candidates were selected, and the minimum score was 808. After that, there was another general selection on February 27. There were 1,187 candidates selected and the minimum number of points was 735. In the last round, which took place on March 20, 1620 invitations were sent out, and the minimum required passing score was 481. That is, this round included those who do not have an invitation to work, nor provincial support. That is, most likely, it was already people with the Canadian Experience Class program.
There is some regularity in reducing the required score with each round. Let’s see what will happen next. Apparently, will reach even those candidates who have a lower score. In general, we will wait and see. All friends. I hope this information was useful for you. The next video will be about how my husband was preparing and taking the IELTS. All the best! See you in the new videos! Bye-bye!
