Customs regulations.
Customs regulations of the European Union:
� Member States of the European Union, Norway, Andorra, San Marino, Switzerland and from Liechtenstein are allowed to import food products of animal origin in an amount suitable for personal consumption.
� Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and Croatia are allowed to import meat and dairy products, as well as other products of animal origin (eg honey, live oysters, mussels and snails) up to 10 kg per person. Fish and fish products are allowed to import from Croatia and Greenland to 20 kg, and from the Faroe Islands and from Iceland – in an amount suitable for personal consumption.
� From other states that are not members of the European Union:
o import of meat and dairy products is prohibited (it is allowed to import baby and therapeutic food in a sealed original package of up to 2 kg per person);
o Other products of animal origin, such as honey, live oysters, mussels and snails, are allowed to import up to 2 kg per person (valid in the case of recognized states);
o fish and fish products, including prawns, crabs, inanimate oysters and mussels, fish caviar (except black caviar), are allowed to import up to 20 kg per person.
� From all states it is allowed to import food products of non-animal origin (sweets, chocolate, biscuits, cakes) in an amount suitable for personal consumption.
From member states of the European Union it is possible to import duty-free for personal consumption:
� 400 cigarillos, the weight of one cigarillo does not exceed 3 grams,
� 1 kg of smoking tobacco,
� 1 kg of chewing tobacco.
From countries outside the European Union, you can duty-free import for personal consumption:
� 100 cigarillos * or.
� 50 g of smoking tobacco * or.
� 50 g of chewing tobacco *.
* The quantities marked with an asterisk (*) are allowed to be combined with the account that each quantity is 100% and all can be brought 100%. An example of combining: 20 cigarettes is 50% of 40 cigarettes, they can additionally add 25 cigars, which is 50% of 50 cigars.
From member states of the European Union it is possible to import duty-free for personal consumption:
� up to 90 liters of wine, including up to 60 liters of sparkling wine,
� up to 110 liters of beer,
� up to 10 liters of strong alcoholic beverages (with alcohol content in excess of 22%),
� 20 liters of other alcoholic drinks not mentioned above (with an alcohol content of less than 22%).
From countries outside the European Union, you can duty-free import for personal consumption:
� up to 4 liters of wine;
� up to 16 liters of beer;
� In addition, 2 liters of alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of less than 22% (including sparkling wine, liqueur wine) or 1 liter of strong alcoholic beverages (with an alcohol content of more than 22%) *.
* The quantities marked with an asterisk (*) are allowed to be combined with the account that each quantity is 100% and all can be brought 100%. Example of combining: 1.5 liters of alcoholic beverage with an alcohol content of up to 22% is 75% of 2 liters, in addition, you can add 0.25 liters of strong alcoholic beverage with an alcohol content of over 22%, which is 25% of 1 liter.
Plants and plant products.
A passenger can enter from countries outside the European Union:
� 5 plants (including trees and shrubs),
� 3 kg of citrus fruit,
� 5 kg of fruits and vegetables,
� 20 cut flowers or twigs, or a wreath or bouquet made of them,
� 5 room flowers,
� 2 kg of flower bulbs or tubers,
� 5 five-gram packages for seed.
Without a phytosanitary certificate, it is not allowed to import potatoes and soil, as well as the following plants: Irga, Japanese quince or chanomeles, cotoneaster, hawthorn, quince, medlar, apple, German medlar, pyracanthus, pear, mountain ash, David’s phytinia or spark leaf, citrus plants, Fortunella Japanese or kumquat, Japanese orange, grapes. In addition, cut parts of chrysanthemum, cloves and orchids as well as potted plants are not allowed to be imported. When arriving from the member states of the European Union there are no quantitative restrictions.

Endangered species of animals and plants.
Species of any species of endangered plants and animals, as well as parts thereof and products made from them, can be imported from countries outside the European Union, only with appropriate permits from CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and flora).
From the requirement of permission for the presence in the luggage of a passenger, products and products made from the following flora and fauna are released:
� caviar of sturgeon species of fish (Acipenseriformes spp.) – 125 gr,
� made of any species of cactus (Cactaceae spp.) Umbrellas – 3 pcs.,
� Crocodile skin products (Crocodylia spp.) – 4 pcs.,
� Strombus giant (Strombus Gigas) – 3 pcs.,
� Tridacne (Tridacnidae spp.) – 3 pcs. or 3 kg,
� sea horse (Hippocampus spp.) – 3 dead individuals.

Without the permission of the Department of Medicines, you can take for your personal consumption up to 10 drugs of different names and up to five retail packages of each drug, and for taken animals – up to five medications of different names, with each name up to three retail packages. The size of the retail package for solid dosage forms is up to 100 units, for powders used for the preparation of the solution – 500 g, for homeopathic granules – 50 g, for infusion solutions and solutions taken orally – 500 ml, for injectable dosage forms – up to 10 ampoules or vial, for external medicines – 200 ml or 200 g, dragees – 100 g. Medicines should be in the manufacturer’s packaging.
Without the permission of the drug department, you can take with you one retail package of narcotic or psychotropic medicines of up to 20 units. The medication should be notified to the doctor, and for medicines intended for animals – the veterinarian on the need for a medicine or a copy of the prescription.
If a person whose permanent place of residence is in a state party to the Schengen Agreement wishes to travel to the territory of another member state of the Schengen agreement, then for each narcotic or psychotropic drug prescribed by the doctor’s prescription, a certificate issued by the state of residence must be provided in accordance with the form established by Article 75 of the Schengen Convention. In Estonia, it issues a certificate to the Department of Medicines.

From outside the European Union, for personal use, it is possible to import weapons and ammunition in the presence of a permit to purchase weapons and issued by the Department of Police and Border Guard. one-off special permission.
The right to move along with arms and ammunition between the member states of the European Union gives a passport of firearms to which a permit issued by a competent state agency has been entered. If the purpose of the trip is shooting sports or hunting, you need a firearm passport and an invitation.

Explosives and pyrotechnic products.
A passenger (who has reached at least 18 years of age) can bring to Estonia from the European Economic Area pyrotechnic products of the 1st and 2nd grades registered in the Technical Supervision Department with a total mass of up to two kilograms. For the import of pyrotechnic products to Estonia from third countries there must be a permit for the import of explosive material.

Any passenger entering or leaving the European Union territory and having an amount equivalent to 10,000 euros in cash or more, must submit a declaration to the customs office. Cash is considered as cash and coins, as well as checks (including traveler’s checks), bills of exchange, postal money transfers, shares.
THROUGH THE CUSTOMS BORDER PASSENGER IS PROHIBITED:
� dangerous dangerous cold, gunshot and electroshock weapons, as well as ammunition, banned in civil circulation;
� counterfeit goods, ie any counterfeit branded goods, such as clothes, shoes, watches, etc .;

Delivery across the customs border of a prohibited product is a violation of customs regulations, which entails a fine or arrest.
Customs has the right to confiscate the prohibited and undeclared goods!
